Loved every minute of our anniversary dinner. Food was fantastic, service was wonderful, Hailey was so sweet and offer some delicious suggestions! We sat outside and the weather was so beautiful and the view was stunning. We will be back.

This is my first visit, and I must say, it has been an incredible experience! The staff member we interacted with truly made our time memorable, and I can confidently say we will definitely be returning. The banana pudding is absolutely divine – a perfect blend of creamy texture and rich flavor that left me craving more. I also highly recommend trying the Hangover Sandwich; it's a delightful combination of ingredients that is both satisfying and delicious. Can't wait to come back for more!

I was in a pinch for a location for our son’s college graduation. I wanted a place with good food and great family friendly environment. Sideways checked all the boxes. The service, the food, location and environment was excellent. Our hostess was very professional and efficient she served our party of 20 with excellence I loved the southern hospitality My only complaint was the lemon drop martini was horrible both they made it. First one taste like water and the second tasted bitter with a splash of pineapple.

We tried tried this place for happy hour one day and no one was available to greet us when we entered, we sat ourselves and waited, finally the bartender acknowledge us and said she would be with us in a moment. She got our drink orders and we ordered the Sideways Toothpicks, 1/2 pound of Brisket and 1/2 of Ribs, The Sideways Toothpicks were fantastic cooked to perfection and a nice mix of Jalapeno and Onion that are fried. The Ribs and Brisket was very delicious. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. Very good food and great selection of Draught Beers. We will be returning again as you get great food and service all in one spot.

The barbecue is the very best I have had from anywhere in Rockwall. The caboodle is amazing and jalapenos are super delicious. Service during the day was great. My only complaint is when I wanted to take my family back to try it you have to be 21 to enter. So definitely not family friendly. Also no burnt ends which I’m assuming are amazing.

Afternoon date at the Harbor in Rockwall Texas . Lunch after church and a movie. Found a restaurant we had not been too called Sideways. Chose to sit outdoors but other tables from other restaurant were in front and the lake view was not fully a lake view , but service was excellent! the brisket sandwich was amazing as well as the ribs were delicious. We hadn’t had good bbq in a long time . Happy we chose this spot. Definitely will come again. The music was loud from the other restaurant but could still talk .

Fully enjoyed my experience dining on the patio at Sidways. I was immediately greeted and told to sit anywhere I'd like. I opted for a shaded seat outside so I could enjoy the perfect weather and great harbor view. The country music was an amazing bonus. I had a chopped brisket sandwich. It came dry with an onion, pepper and pickle and my choice of BBQ sauce from the table. I liked building it my way. Really enjoyed the sandwich (espcially the bun and the spicy BBQ sauce). Service was great as well. I'd absolutely go back.
